Practice Administrator

I started working in the dental field when I was still in high school. I received my certification from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry and began my professional career as an expanded duties auxiliary and licensed dental radiographer.

In January of 2008, I joined Dr. Darryl Fields’ periodontal dental team. Working here is such a joy! Not only because Dr. Field is a fantastic surgeon, but also due to our genuine, professional, and talented team.

It is an honor to be a part of an office that genuinely cares for patients and works so well together. I believe our patients can sense this and really enjoy coming to visit us.

In my free time, you can find me with my family and our energetic Jack Russell puppy. I stay very active in my church and have recently started to paint.

Office Manager

I have been in the dental field since 2001. I began my journey as a dental assistant in general dentistry, but in 2003, I decided to change things up and move into the surgery side of dentistry.

I’ve been the office manager here since 2009, and love being part of Dr. Fields’ team. There really is no better feeling than waking up in the morning and truly loving what you do. Our doctor, team, and patients are all so amazing! It is truly a pleasure to be a part of this awesome office.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three boys, one daughter, and my dog and cat. I’m active in my church and love to participate in local races.

Insurance Coordinator

I originally went to school and got certified in medical assisting. I then got a position in an oral surgery office in 2000, where I trained in dental assisting and front office services.

I joined Dr. Darryl Field’s office in 2015, and I absolutely love working here. Our team gets along like family both in and out of the office.

Away from the office, I enjoy traveling. I also attend many Jaguar football games and like to explore our local beaches.

I am happily married to my husband, Stephen, and together we have a cat named Pumpkin.

I have worked in the dental field for many years. What I love most about dentistry is learning something new each day and our fantastic patients.

In my free time, I enjoy a nice cup of coffee and love to explore new places.

Kinsey

Marketing Assistant

I started working for Dr. Field as an administrative/marketing assistant in 2011. However, in 2013, I went back to school to pursue my Associate in Arts degree.

In 2016, I took a break from working to be home with my two babies. Three years later, I stepped back into the workplace and started as a marketing assistant for Dr. Field.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, church, and being on our farm (with our chickens, dogs, and horses). Being an avid animal lover, I’ve also been around animals and feel blessed to teach horseback riding lessons to both beginners and advanced riders.

Surgical Assistant

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida. During my first few years of school, I assisted in an oral surgery office in South Florida.

While continuing my education in Jacksonville, I worked with Dr. Field part-time. After graduation, I worked at Shands Jacksonville in patient education before returning to work with Dr. Field full-time.

I enjoy assisting with a wide range of surgeries and take pride in catering to each patient’s unique needs during your visit.

In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, and tennis.

Surgical Assistant

I went through the dental assisting program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, graduating in June 2006. I started working for Dr. Field in September of the same year.

What I enjoy most about my profession is helping with various surgeries and seeing how we can change people’s lives. I also really like working in an office where I learn something new every day.

While away from work, I enjoy traveling, working out, reading, and going to the beach.

Elly

Dental Hygienist

I began my dental career right out of high school as a registered dental assistant and lab assistant. In 2002, I graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville Dental Hygiene Program as a licensed dental hygienist.

I consider myself a compassionate person dedicated to providing an exceptional experience while helping you achieve optimum oral health. I love being a dental hygienist and view all our families like family.

I’m multilingual and love translating Spanish and Greek whenever we have a patient with these backgrounds! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling abroad, Pilates, and being outdoors in my spare time.

Carmen

Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist since 2005. Upon graduating from the Florida State College at Jacksonville Dental Hygiene program in 2003, I began working at a cosmetic dentistry practice before moving into periodontics.

What I enjoy the most about my profession is changing how people feel about dentistry and making it a pleasant experience.

I prefer periodontology to general dentistry because I know we can do more specialized procedures that can enhance your health and make a lasting difference.

When I’m not working, I love to travel and ride bikes on the beach.

Kelly

Dental Hygienist

I have been in the dental field since 1993. I started as a dental assistant but having a family changed my outlook.

Shortly after having my son (and knowing I wanted to have more children), I decided to continue my education to become a dental hygienist. So, I completed my prerequisites for dental hygiene at Florida State College at Jacksonville while working full-time as a dental assistant.

I transferred to Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville and graduated in 2001. I then welcomed my daughter the following year. During this time, I continued working for a general dentist but decided to change to periodontics in 2019.

I joined Dr. Field and his team in February of that year, and I’m so glad I did! Being a dental hygienist is so amazing. I witness firsthand a host of unique dental journies and have the opportunity to help you succeed in yours.

Julie, a dental hygienist at Darryl A. Field, DDS
Julie

Dental Hygienist

I am originally from upstate New York but have been living in Florida for most of my life. My husband and I have three adult children. Two of them live in South Florida and the oldest is a massage therapist here in Jacksonville Beach.

I have been a dental hygienist for 28 years. I started out in pediatrics and then went to general. I have found my happy place here in periodontics.

With free time, my husband and I love to be outside as much as possible, hiking or boating. We also enjoy watching football. My favorite hobby is working out puzzles.

PATIENT REVIEWS

Dr. Field and his staff were so kind, so sensitive, and so professional that I left the office feeling just fine. Yes, I need to go back, and yes, I need procedures that I don't want, but I feel confident that Dr. Field and his staff will do the best they can to help me. Also, their prices are well within reason for those of us who have no insurance.
